Tibetan Thangka School is the manufacture and wholesalers and distributor of the finest thangka in different monastery and shop in Nepal. We have been exporting our outstanding Thangka to numbers of shops all over the world as well as in retailing stores in Katmandu. We are located in Thamel Chowk; Katmandu. Tibetan Thangka School is founded by Akka Lama. During his 14 years of experience in Tibetan Art. He is inspired by his Father who is also a Thangka Artist.

His main aim is to support many artists and makes Tibetan authentic arts.

Many of Nepali artist are making Thangka only to earn money but they do not think about saving Tibetan authentic art. Mr. Lama has been requesting many Nepalese artists not to destroy Tibetan art and culture and to make Thangka in the Traditional way. He thinks that his encourage will save Tibetan authentic art and culture but he needs help from Many of You.

Thangkas are specially sketched, painted and designed. The making of a single Thangka might take two weeks to more than a year and some time even more. Considering the amount of time and effort invested in the making of each Thangka, the price of the Thangka are surprisingly reasonable ranging from US$ 50 onwards. We also make customize design and size of all types of Thangka .Our Thangkas are painted by master artists in our School according to Tibetan Text Book.

Tibetan Thangka School produces a large variety of thangkas form small one to large one. We also take special request form our clients. Our master artist can make any kinds of Thangkas. We are art experts; however we have a real interest in it and are learning more every day. We describe the Thangka painting as best we can. In all cases we give you as much information about a scroll as we have. We show close-ups of every Thangka painting so you can see the high quality of our Thangka paintings. You can feel our Thangka when you see it. We accept customer orders for any image for which you can provide a description or photograph.
